Hyaluronidase Post Treatment
Thank you for trusting us with your recent treatment. To ensure the best possible results and a smooth recovery,
please follow these essential post-treatment care instructions:
After Your Treatment:

-
Most patients are able to continue with normal activities with immediate improvement in their appearance. In the treated areas, redness, pinprick marks, swelling (particularly in the lips) and possibly bruising are common. Any swelling and bruising may be more prominent the day after treatment. If desired, apply ice for the first few hours after treatment for ten minutes on and ten minutes off.
-
Any overcorrection resulting from the loss of your own hyaluronic acid will usually be temporary and is expected to resolve within a few days. The breakdown of the dermal filler will be permanent.
-
Please contact your provider if redness, tenderness, itching, or swelling worsens after 3 days, rather than resolving.
-
As a consequence of swelling and the action of the hyaluronidase you may notice some asymmetry. The final result is usually not complete until 2 weeks.
-
Remember that multiple sessions may be needed to achieve desired results.
-
Swelling, bruising, redness, and soreness are all common, temporary, and normal to occur after dissolving.
-
If more filler is desired, schedule for at least 2 weeks after dissolving to allow dissolving to complete.
-
As always, contact the office with any questions or concerns.
