We are excited about your upcoming appointment and are committed to ensuring you have a comfortable and
successful experience with us! To help prepare for your visit, we've outlined some important pre-treatment
instructions.
Before Your Treatment:

Please avoid skin irritation or intentional skin tanning. Sun-screen is advisable when outdoors during daylight hours.

Please discontinue tretinoin, retinol and any irritant topical agents for 3-4 days prior to treatment.

Please arrive for treatment with clean skin. There should be no lotion, make-up, perfume, powder or bath/shower oil present on the skin in the area to be treated.

No NSAIDS or anticoagulants 7 days prior to and 24 hours after the treatments to minimize bruising.

If you currently use any topicals against skin-discoloration, such as Hydroquinone or Kojic Acid products, please continue to use it until the day before the treatment
During the Treatment:

We offer topical and local anesthetics as well as Pro Nox (optional) for your best confort.

Please expect that the numbing process takes about an hour.
What to Expect After the Treatment

Immediately after treatment, most patients will experience erythema (redness) for 1-3 days, however for more aggressive treatments this may last longer. Slight to moderate edema (swelling) and a mild to moderate sunburn sensation are also common post treatment and may last 1-3 days. Skin may crust and peel for 2-7 days depending on treatment settings.

Neck and body takes longer to heal. It is possible for your skin to have redness remaining for a month or longer if your treatment is on your body.

You will be asked to treat your skin as open wounds avoid skin irritants and wash your hands before touching your face. We will send you the Post Treatment Instructions closer to or after your appointment
time.
